Man of the match: Matty Marsh - both half-backs revelled in the Knights' dominance, and Marsh got the nod thanks to his four-try haul. Fellow dual reg Hull KR starlet Will Dagger also oozed class, albeit against relatively weak opposition.

Referee: Joe Stearne (Castleford) – youngster was making his first outing at League One level and it made for good practice.

Penalty count: 8-7

Half-time: 38-0

Weather: hot and sunny.

Attendance: 900 approx

Moment of the match: there were some quality tries in the 16-try romp as the Knights enjoyed themselves in attack, the pick of the solo efforts being Will Dagger's 90-metre sprint from one end to the other.

Gaffe of the match: York invited some pressure at the start of the second half when allowing the kick off to bounce out, with Ben Cockayne also giving a penalty away for dissent when in possession - even if he was correct in telling the young ref he'd missed a Hemel transgression for not being square at the play-the-ball.

Gamebreaker: four tries in nine first-half minutes had York in the clear at 38-0 come the interval.

Match rating: it was another one-sided contest between a promotion-chasing team and an also-ran expansion club at the other end of the table, but nobody can say the Knights aren't giving their fans value for money with a bonkers 234 points in their last two outings at Bootham Crescent.
