YORK City Knights Ladies had another tough day in the Women's Super League as they lost 62-0 to Castleford Tigresses in their opening home match.
Having fallen at St Helens last week, York, new to the top flight of women's rugby league, were given more lessons to learn by an eye-catching Cas side.
England international Katie Hepworth led the way with a 26-point haul as she went over for two tries and kicked nine goals.
Former Thatto Heath Crusaders back Tara Stanley also ran in a brace alongside a double for Grace Field.
Tries from Alex Wallace, Kirsty Higo, Emma Lumley, Olivia Grace and Georgie Hetherington completed the scoring.
The Tigresses, though, had praise for the battling home team. They tweeted: "What a great way to start the season! Credit to @yckladies for putting up a great fight until the last whistle."
