HOUNDS FC and Wigginton Grasshoppers will meet in the final of the York Fastpack Sunday Morning League Senior Cup.

High-flying Hounds overcame Malt Shovel 2-1 in a local derby and Wigginton Grasshoppers beat Bishopthorpe CFC 5-1.

Malt Shovel had Tommy Butterfield on target but it was not enough to stop Liam Brown and Sam Cable netting to keep Hounds in the hunt for a treble.

Harry Clapham bagged four and Neale Holmes one as Grasshoppers saw off Bishopthorpe. Nathan Walker got the reply.

Hounds were also in action midweek against Selby Olympia in division one, winning 6-0 thanks to an Issac Leach hat-trick, Dan Middleton's brace and Jordan Emery's finish.

Bramham Sunday hosted Olympia at the weekend, securing a 4-3 win and jumping to second in the table thanks to Anthony Walsh's treble and Josh Wilson's goal.

Tom Lazenby and Sam McAllister struck for the visitors.

NUR have been struggling of late but gave a good account of themselves as they went down 2-1 at home to York Nomads.

Nathan Bradley and Mike Hattee scored for the visitors while Danny Cotton had NUR's sole reply.

Division two leaders Atlanta earned their 14th clean sheet of the season as they beat Rawcliffe United 2-0 thanks to goals from Dan Smith and Daniel Paterson.

Haxby United turned around a one-goal deficit at half-time to beat Acomb Club 8-1.

Harry Moorcroft bagged a hat-trick, Dan Clipston a brace and Gareth Harton, Tom Kilvington and Dave Fell got one apiece.

Haxby also played midweek game, hosting another promotion challenger in Walnut Tree. The teams could not be separated with the score finishing 2-2.

The home side had to come from behind again after being two down at the break to goals from Daniel Whitecombe and Ellis Turbine.

Dan Clipston and Harry Moorcroft scored the second-half goals for Haxby.

York Medics and Burnholme played a double-header to catch up on games.

Game one saw Medics win 5-0 with Alex Renwick and Robbie Britland netting twice, with Jasaren Grewal adding.

The second game finished 3-0 to Medics with Renwick getting another two goals and Greg Chambers netting.

Thorpe United ran out comfortable 2-0 winners as they squared up to bottom side Kings Head. Dom Ballance and Reece Stronach scored the goals for the winners.

FC Harrogate came away from a visit to White Horse with a 5-3 win.

Liam Coppinger scored four and Sean Robinson added for the Harrogate side.

Jordan Wyard, Lloyd Crawford and Thomas Badzyinski were all on target for White Horse.

FC Harrogate also came away with all three points at home to York Medics in a midweek fixture as goals from Tom Lancashire, Zak Allen and Sean Robinson gave them a 3-1 win.

White Horse also played a midweek game, seeing off Burnholme 4-2.

Thorpe United hosted Rawcliffe United in a 0-0 stalemate.
