Clarence 'B' claimed promotion and the second division title as they whitewashed Poppleton 10-0.

York RI 'D' look set for the promotion play-off slot after Ben Lockyer and Mark Blackburn inspired them to a 9-1 triumph over University 'B'.

Graham Hatfield starred as Clarence 'C' defeated York RI 'F' 7-3, while Mike Cooper continued his excellent run of form as Bootham A edged a close encounter with Ryedale@RI 6-4. Bootham 'B' prevailed 7-3 against York RI 'E' thanks to a maximum haul from Ian Hilton.

In the third division, a treble from Gary Bunch proved decisive as form team Clarence CIU 'A' earned a 6-4 victory over a battling York RI 'H'.

Marcin Ziolek and Peter Smalley were undefeated as York RI 'G' retained their promotion hopes after a 7-3 win against Shepherds 'B'.

Unbeaten Paul Lodder put in a season’s best performance as bottom team Clarence 'D' surprised their 'E' team with a 6-4 victory.

A fine treble from Adam Exley could not prevent Clarence 'F' going down 7-3 to BT 'A' and South Bank 'A' improved their position by defeating an understrength Strensall 'B' 7-3.

University 'C' secured promotion from the fourth division after Jordan Liu led them to an 8-2 triumph over a strong South Bank 'B' team.

Elsewhere, BT 'B' defeated Wigginton & Haxby 'B' 7-3 and Wigginton & Haxby 'C' climbed to within three points of their 'B' team as they whitewashed Shepherds 'C' 10-0.
