BOTTOM team Bishopthorpe White Rose bagged a point in the York FA Under-19s League first division after a 1-1 draw with Poppleton.

Max Moat scored for Bish, and Billy Annett for Pop.

Mid-table pair York Cubs and Rawcliffe drew 2-2. Charlie a Power and Lucas Hindle netted for Cubs, with Joe Manship and Dan Hobson on the mark for Rawcliffe.

There was a huge shock in division two as lowly Copmanthorpe beat leaders Fulford 3-2 - handing them only their second defeat of term.

Dan Johnson (2) and Matt Scurry did the damage for Cop.

Heworth beat Wheldrake 3-0 with goals by Reece Jackson, Alfie Atkinson and Euan Surgenor.

The previous weekend, Copmanthorpe beat Wheldrake 3-0 in the only fixture to beat the weather.

It was only the second win Cop had enjoyed this term and it moved them off the foot of the table.

The game got the go-ahead after being switched to the 3G pitch at York College, with Copmanthorpe winning in very blustery conditions thanks to goals by Callum Logan (2) and William Lyngholm.
