FASTPACK Ltd York Sunday Morning League rivals Hounds and Bramham will meet in the Barkston Ash FA Cup final.

Hounds brushed aside Bardsey 11-1 in their semi-final while Bramham edged past YSML foes Malt Shovel on penalties.

Their tie finished 4-4 after 90 minutes, with Bramham winning 5-3 on spot kicks.

Division one leaders Wigginton Grasshoppers, meanwhile, stayed at the summit after coming from 2-0 down to beat York Nomads 3-2.

The first half-hour was one-way traffic with the Huntington-based Nomads controlling most of the play and going two up thanks to a couple of well-taken Liam Flanagan goals.

It all looked too easy for the visitors, who seemed to take their foot off the gas towards the end of the half, allowing Jamie Willstrop to break through and reduce the deficit.

As the break approached, Hoppers took control, Neale Holmes lashing a shot against the bar, and a Terry Taylor free-kick hitting the same woodwork.

The second half saw Hoppers assume command and they levelled 10 minutes in when Pat Evans broke clear and sent a left-footed shot low into the corner of the goal.

Josh Luckhurst had a penalty saved by Josh Archer but sustained pressure saw Wiggy finally rewarded when another Evans strike looped over Archer and in.

A late rally from Nomads proved in vain as Wigginton held on.

Hambleton picked up their fourth win of term by beating NUR 3-2.

Hambleton were the better side in the first half but NUR took the lead, their striker running through and finishing low in off a post.

An own goal levelled matters before half-time and, on the resumption, Kane Snelson beat the offside trap and set up Nathan Parker to put Hambleton ahead. They also had a disallowed goal before NUR equalised.

Nevertheless, Parker was brought down by the keeper and the striker got up to score the penalty to win it.

NUR’s marksmen were Calum Roe-Dixon and Luke Woodall.

Bishopthorpe CFC have climbed off the bottom to eighth after winning their last two games.

They pipped Brayton 2-1 last time out, going ahead after only two minutes with a deflected shot.

Both teams had further chances in the first half, Brayton having one effort cleared off the line. They did equalise midway through the second period, though, when Patrick Guest crossed and Davey Cryer headed home.

But five minutes later, Bishopthorpe retook the lead.

In division two, Atlanta won their top-of-the-table clash at Thorpe United 3-0. Gareth Traynor (2) and Ben Lambert got the goals.

Walnut Tree beat fellow promotion-chasers Acomb Club 7-1, the visitors having only mustered 10 men.

Chris Barratt grabbed a hat trick, with Jordan Coulson (2), Finlay Rylatt and Finlay Scott also adding for the hosts. Lee Harris replied.

Third-placed Haxby United grabbed another win, edging York Medics 2-1 with goals by Dan Clipston and Tom Kilvington.

Wentworth pipped White Horse 4-3 thanks to goals by Dave Dawson, Dan Mullen, Tom Johnson and Diego Perdisci. Craig Fletcher, Thomas Badzyinski and Scott Pallister responded.

K Town United came from behind against FC Harrogate to secure their second win of term. Callum Sanpher and Luke Middleton gave Harrogate a 2-1 interval lead but K Town hit back to win 4-2.

Clockhouse beat bottom side Kings Head 3-0 with goals by Kieran Nelson (2) and Dylan Howlett.
