The player-coach netted his 50th and 51st goals for the Pikes as they won 3-1 at Toolstation Northern Counties East League premier division leaders Handsworth Parramore, ending the latter's six-match winning streak.

Blott opened the scoring for the fourth-placed Pikes from the penalty spot in the 45th minute after Ged Dalton had been brought down, sending the Amber Parras keeper the wrong way.

That levelled matters after Adam's Johnson's tenth-minute opener, and Blott made it 2-1 ten minutes into the second half before Dalton confirmed Handsworth's fifth defeat of the season, and their third at home, with a goal in the 74th minute.
