TADCASTER Albion fans will be delighted to hear that exciting winger Adam Baker has re-joined the club.

The former Bradford City player has returned after spells at Brighouse Town and Hyde United to the club that hails him as a legend.

Brewers boss Michael Morton expressed his contentment at recapturing Baker: “It’s great to see Adam back in a Tadcaster Albion shirt.

“His goalscoring ability married up with his great pace will bring something different to our forward line.”

The 23-year-old notched 19 goals and 11 assists in the Brewers’ Northern Counties East League premier division title-winning season of 2015/16 – including the crucial goal against Armthorpe Welfare that sealed the championship.

Baker said: “I am delighted to be re-joining Tadcaster.

“I have a good history with the club and still have a lot of love for them.

“Tadcaster is going in the right direction and deserves every success.

“The club is run the right way from the board, all the way to the supporters that travel the country to watch.

“I am looking forward to getting playing and hopefully helping the team reach the goals we want to achieve.

“I have seen a few results go the other way, but there is no reason why we can’t be up at the top come the end of the season.”

Baker made four appearances for the Bantams during the 2012/13 season, all from the bench.
