YORK'S unbeaten light welterweight boxer, Danny "Tazmanian Devil" Holmes, is back in ring action next Friday (September 1) at Elland Road, Leeds.
Holmes, who is trained and managed by Glenn Banks at the York Masters Boxing Club, has won all his five professional bouts to date.
Banks said: "Danny holds an unblemished 5-0 record and is looking to get more rounds in the bank as he progresses through the ranks.
"Training and preparations have gone brilliantly in this camp and we are expecting a good performance. All support is massively appreciated."
Holmes takes his record into a Friday Night Fights show promoted by Mark Bateson, which will feature nine professional bouts.
Also making his pro debut is former York City Knights rugby league player Micky Learmonth.
