IT'S all change at the top of the Hunters York & District Senior League Premier Division after Sessay ended fellow title rivals Studley Royal's unbeaten start.

Dunnington took advantage to grab top spot in their quest for an immediate return to the Premier League.

Former leaders Studley Royal were knocked off the top by a visiting Sessay side who secured a comprehensive nine-wicket win to replace their hosts in the top two.

Nick Stuart (30) top-scored as the home side limped to 160-9, with Stephen Langstaff taking 3-39.

Matthew Till's wicket was the only one to fall in the reply but not until he had scored 59, with Mark Wilke finishing 71 not out, with the visitors needing just 25 overs to reach the target.

Dunnington turned in an equally dominant performance, their seven-wicket win at Whitkirk sending the home side into the bottom two.

Wickets from former Driffield Town pair Johnny Anderson (3-30) and Dave Brent (4-55) helped restrict the hosts to 135-9, despite a half-century form Mark Murphy (51).

George Drury (47) top-scored for the visitors, who are now unbeaten in five since an opening- day defeat.

Beverley Town are up to third after they proved too strong for York at Shipton Road.

Tom Spearman (5-35) and Tom Forsdike (4-46) combined to great effect to restrict the visitors to 163-9, a total which owed much to Brad Dobson (55) and Harry Gamble (37), but the home side were unable to take advantage, being bowled out 112 in reply, Matthew Mudd finishing with 5-32.

Castleford captain David Wainwright took five wickets for five runs as Bolton Percy were bowled out for just 65 at Savile Park, Amir Ditta also being in the wickets with 3-21.

That came after the hosts' skipper had made 50 in a total of 178, Liam Hyde also contributing 42, with Will Phelps (4-55) the pick of the visiting attack.

Victory at fellow strugglers Malton & Old Malton helped Goole Town climb out of the relegation places as the bottom two went toe to toe.

Richard Mann (4-59) and Oliver Ounsley (4-38) set up the visitors' second win of the season, bowling out the hosts for 172, which included 40 from Gary Hall and 37 from the in-form Neil Johnson.

In reply, Ben Earl made 39 before an unbroken sixth-wicket stand between Ashton Nottingham (41no) and Scott Thorpe (31no) sealed victory.

Owen Goldsworthy continued his rich vein of form, adding 86 to last week's 79 not out against Malton & Old Malton, but it wasn't enough to prevent Pickering beating Driffield Town by five wickets.

Kieran Bowes took 5-43 as the visitors were bowled out for 149, Haydon Jackson lead the successful reply with 37.
