YORK Acorn ARLC go to Hull Dockers on Saturday looking to continue where they left off against Hunslet Parkside last week.

Both Acorn and Dockers have won once in three National Conference League division one outings so far, with the Blue and Golds losing 28-22 last time out - but coming back smartly from 28-6 down to nearly nick it against a side tipped by many for the title.

Head coach Leigh Paul-Rientoul said: "We started pretty poorly and penalties let them go down the field. They also had some really big forwards and we were going upstairs to try to take them down instead of going low.

"Their man of the match, Danny Rowse, was on point with his kicking game and we were giving him too much time on the ball.

"The one good positive, though, was that while we were 28-6 down with 11 minutes to go, we got the game back to 28-22, with two more tries not given because of forward passes, so in the end it could have gone either way."

Stand-off Ant Chilton is unavailable due to work commitments but Karl Harton could return after impressing with a hat-trick at centre for the 'A' team last week.
