FORMER York City goalkeeper Scott Flinders and playmaker Luke Summerfield will play host to their old club at Macclesfield tonight.
The pair, members of the City squad that were relegated from the Football League last season, have been mainstays since signing for Macc.
Flinders has played 21 times and kept six clean sheets for the Cheshire outfit this season - initially on loan from Bootham Crescent, before completing a permanent move in January.
On-loan Grimsby midfielder Summerfield, meanwhile, has played a dozen times since his arrival last month and scored twice to earn the Silkmen a 2-2 FA Trophy quarter-final replay at Dulwich Hamlet.
A third ex-Minsterman John McCombe has also netted twice in 35 games for the Moss Rose side this term, but has been in and out of the starting XI recently and was on the bench during Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat to Aldershot.
That match represented the ninth successive game 13-goal, top scorer Chris Holroyd has failed to hit the target, which is his longest barren run of the season.
Midfielder Danny Whitaker also has 12 goals to his name in 2016/17 and the 36-year-old veteran could be recalled to the first XI.
Danny Whitehead (hernia) is the only injury absentee for John Askey’s men, who are without a home win in three matches, taking two points from nine.
Macclesfield (probable): Flinders, Halls, Byrne, Pilkington, Fitzpatrick, Browne, Summerfield, Norburn, Whitaker, Holroyd, Dudley.
