FOUR Fastpack Ltd York Sunday Morning League teams were in York FA Cup action last weekend.

York Nomads Society managed to knock out Wigginton Grasshoppers to reach the final with a 2-1 win.

After another closely-fought game, NUR’s Ben Spencer’s goal was the difference between Cliffe and NUR – the game finishing 1-0.

There was only one game in division one, with Hounds taking on Brayton.

Hounds were three points behind their opponents with games in hand, and could draw level on points with them with a win.

It was scoreless at half time, and it took three goals in the second half from Hounds to take all three points and win 3-0.

Jamie England, Steven Frost and Thomas Hogg scored to take Hounds two places up the table into fifth.

Division two saw fourth-placed Bramham take a step closer to promotion by beating bottom side Rawcliffe Crusaders and climbing to second in the league. The game finished 10-1 to Bramham, with Danny Bass bagging four goals. Chris Plews netted a hat-trick, while Josh Wilson (2) and Anthony Walsh also scored.

York Medics managed to climb two places in the league, to fifth, after their narrow victory over Elmpark.

It was 1-1 at the break, but Medics clinched the win by scoring the only goal in the second half.

Nabeel Illahi netted Medics' goal, while an own goal also helped them win the clash, with Dan Davison scoring Elmpark’s goal.
