YORK Nomads booked their place in the York MotorSports Village Sunday Morning Senior Cup final following a 2-1 victory over Wigginton Grasshoppers.

A classy Jamie Wilstrop solo effort, completed by an edge-of-the-box finish, gave Grasshoppers a half-time lead.

But Nomads levelled on the hour when Liam Flanagan intercepted a Wiggy goal kick.

Victory was then secured when Callum Ward headed home from a Danny Snaith free kick.

NUR await in the final after Ben Spencer’s header secured an away victory at Cliffe with 15 minutes remaining.

In the York District & FA Under-19s cup final will see double-chasing Dringhouses meet Rawcliffe.

Bishopthorpe White Rose are their final opponents after they eased past Easingwold Town Hawks 9-3.

Star man was Aidan Cardow, who smashed in six goals, including a hat-trick after only eight minutes. Joe Watt and Max Forster were the other scorers.
