HUNTINGTON Rovers booked their place in the North Riding FA Saturday County Cup final following a 2-1 win against Redcar Town.

Chris Dyson scored an early opener for Rovers and a freak own goal made doubled the York Minster Engineering League high-fliers’ advantage.

Keeper Chris Barrett went on to save a penalty from Redcar, who grabbed a consolation from the last attack of the game.

Huntington will now meet the winners of Old Malton St Mary’s last-four clash against Boro Rangers in the final at Stokesley.
