POPPLETON United moved three points clear at the top of York Minster Engineering League division one courtesy of a 3-1 victory over Kirkbymoorside. Kevin Luke, Luke Wilkinson and substitute Joe Dale bagged the Poppleton goals.

Harrison Signs sit third after a 4-1 win at Tockwith - Karl Barbaro (2), Rhys Turbine and Neil Fryers on target. York St John University retained fourth position with a 5-0 win over Cliffe FC.

Three sides are level on nine points at the top of Division Two. Easingwold Town beat Stamford Bridge 7-1, Strensall beat Civil Service 4-2, and Barmby Moor enjoyed a 3-2 win over Bishopthorpe United.

Haxby United gained their first points of the season with a 5-0 victory over struggling Fulford United. Rufforth United continued their dominant start in division three with a 13-0 whitewash of Jorvik Blades. Heworth Green won 9-3 at Cawood.

Huby United kept up their perfect record with a 5-4 win at Selby Olympia. A goal from Akif Kaya was enough to earn The Raj three points against Moor Lane. Pollington gained a 5-4 win at division four leaders St Clements. Bubwith White Swan kept up their 100% start with a 7-0 win at Swinton.

In Reserve A, defending champions Dunnington suffered a shock 3-2 defeat against Thorpe United. A Robert Wilson goal settled Copmanthorpe’s encounter with Church Fenton White Horse. Dringhouses and Wigginton Grasshoppers played out a 2-2 draw. Huntington Rovers and Old Malton St Mary’s shared the same scoreline.Hemingbrough United and Tadcaster Magnets played out a goalless draw.

F1 Racing continued their fine start in Reserve B with a 3-1 win over Bishopthorpe United. Osbaldwick won 4-0 at Brooklyn. An own goal gave Easingwold Town victory at Pocklington Town. Heslington defeated Harrison Signs 5-3.

Wilberfoss beat Reserve ‘C’ rivals Fulford Utd 7-2. Sam Gibney hitting a hat-trick. Mark Lund was on target for Civil Service in a 4-1 loss at Wetherby Athletic.
