YORK City have signed midfielder Yan Klukowski on a two-year deal following his release from Sky Bet League Two outfit Nepwort.
Klukowski, 29, started out at FC Chippenham before moving to Bath City, where he made 14 appearances after making his debut at the age of 18.
He went on to spend four years in the United States, playing for Central Connecticut State University, Ottowa Fury, Cape Cod Crusaders and Western Mass Pioneers.
Trials with Carlisle and Swindon then followed before spells at former club Chippenham and Larkhall Athletic led to a chance at National League Forest Green, whom he joined in 2010.
He went on to feature 161 times for Forest Green and netted 49 league goals, before moving up into the Football League with Newport, where he has scored eight times in 73 outings during the last two years.
