SCARBOROUGH II (96-4) had a convincing six-wicket win at home to Heworth II (95-10) in Ebor division two after David Snowball (3-22) and Harrison Wood, the division's leading wicket taker, had helped bowl out the visitors.

In the second innings, the hosts were guided home by Tom Bussey's 45.

Tom Storr was the star turn at Dringhouses (163-7) as they beat visiting York III (162-10) by three wickets.

Storr bagged 6-57 as York failed to use up all their overs, and was then unbeaten on 32 as he saw his side through to maximum points.

Russell Bowry (48) and Toby Cleminson (35) had top-scored for the visitors in a rare defeat that has pushed Dringhouses up to third.

Yapham (110-0) celebrated the official opening of their impressive new pavilion with a ten-wicket win over travelling Acomb II (109-10) after Jason Nattrass (62no) and Ashley Cattle (37no) saw the home side to victory in a little over 24 overs.

Earlier, Scott Nicholls had top-scored with 25 as Jonathan Flint took 3-19 and Mike Newhouse 3-23 on his first-team debut.

At Mill Lane, visiting Clifton Alliance II (116-3) batsmen Jason Gatus (30) and Alistair Wray (45) put together a useful winning partnership to steer their side to full points against Pickering II (110-10).

Pickering's Ian Smith (49) was on the verge of a half-century before he became one of Mike Thompson's (5-24) victims.

Hemingbrough' s trip to Malton & Old Malton II (191-8) saw them leave with the majority of the points after posting a first innings declared total of 232-3.

Robert Scarr (61no) top-scored with additional contributions from, among others, Matt Milburn (59no) and Layton Hallam (52), although skipper Tom Collins bagged 3-21 the home side hung on.

Carlton Towers were back in action after their previous week's match was postponed, but their trip to Londesborough Park (126-1) proved virtually fruitless as they were beaten by nine wickets after being shot out for 124, with Joe Shingles (3-14) and Ciaran Brooke (3-32) each taking three wickets.

After losing the early wicket of Ben Shingles, the home side were seen home by an unbeaten partnership of 126 between Charlie Rook (65no) and James Beevers (42no).

In Ebor division three, Ed Cole scored an unbeaten 124 not out for Castleford II (231-5), but still ended up on the losing side as visitors Whitkirk II (232-4) ran out winners in a high-scoring encounter at Savile Park.

High-flying Whitkirk were seen home by Grant Galloway (69) and Phil Handley (85no).

Copmanthorpe racked up 211-7 at home to Cawood, with Darren Hughes (85) top scorer.

Salman Syed, their new signing from Heworth, scored 39 with the bat and then took 3-16, with Alistair Byers weighing in with 2-4 as the visitors were shot out for 68.

Goole II were restricted to 143-9 at Dunnington II (148-3) as Sam Tattersall took 4-46 and Jack Spofforth 3-19. Mike Millington was unbeaten on 67 as the hosts won by seven wickets.

Leaders Stamford Bridge II (122-3) claimed a seven-wicket win at home to Civil Service (119-10) after they were guided home by the experienced pair of Paul Milner (46no) and Johnny Stevens (33no).

Ed Rook hit 68 and skipper Darren Moody 52 for Londesborough Park II (203-8) as their trip to Selby II (76-2) was abandoned due to rain halfway through the second innings, with Selby's Andrew Wilson unbeaten on 40.

Bolton Percy II (210-6 dec) appeared to have declared a little too early in Ebor division four as host Heworth IV (214-6) chased down their score to win as Geoff Toulmin (72) was again among the runs and Stuart Ross had taken 4-57.

Peter Atkinson was unbeaten on 67 for the visitors, with Howard Hall returning 5-39.

Peter Woodhead was 70 not out for Cawood II (150-6) at home to Thorp Arch & Boston Spa II (60-6) before rain ended the game early, with Owen Camy (5-19) having put Cawood in a seemingly good position.

North Duffield (112-1) strengthened their position with a nine-wicket win at Woodhouse Grange IV (111-10), with Tom Ellwood 63 not out.

Steven Smith (69) helped Drax to a first-innings total of 257-7 at near-neighbours Carlton Towers before they too were washed out with the home side on 27-0.
