BEVERLEY’S Kyle Edmund was given the toughest of Wimbledon draws, which could see him face reigning champion Novak Djokovic in the second round.
That is if the talented 21-year-old, a former Pocklington School pupil, gets through a difficult opener against Frenchman Adrian Mannarino and Djokovic – who is the reigning champion and current holder of all four grand slam titles – overcomes Edmund’s Davis Cup team-mate James Ward.
Andy Murray will play fellow Briton Liam Broady in the first round and has been drawn in the same half as Stan Wawrinka.
