TEAM GB pair Ashley McKenzie and Frazer Chamberlain took a break from their Olympic preparations to deliver a masterclass at York's Old Priory Judo Club.

The two Rio hopefuls held a training day for junior and adults with the club that holds weekly sessions in Osbaldwick and Dringhouses.

McKenzie competed in the London 2012 Games and is a World and European Cup gold-medal winner, who also appeared on a series of reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother.

His masterclass partner - on the day - Chamberlain is also a multiple European Open and Cup medallist.

Following the visit, club official Maria Burgess said: "We would like to thank all members who came down for the class because, without their continued support, the club would not be able to hold such events."

Old Priory is run by Trevor Elsy, Lisa Elsy, Josh Burgess and Maria Burgess.
