MALTON & Norton Golf club ace Simon Dyson will make his latest comeback at the Trophee Hassan II event in Morocco this week.

The European Tour heads to the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam course and York professional Dyson is finally back in the swing, having been recovering from pneumonia since mid-March.

After missing much of the 2015 season following wrist surgery, it was another cruel blow for the 38-year-old, who has six Tour titles to his name.

"It will be nice to get back playing in the sun," tweeted Dyson this week ahead of his return. He joins a star-studded field for the tournament, which tees off tomorrow.

England's Andrew Johnston makes his first appearance since soaring to a maiden European Tour title at the Real Club Valderrama Open de Espana last month.

Four of the six event winners – Alejandro Cañizares, David Horsey, Michael Hoey and Rhys Davies – are in the field. The tournament invitations also feature a legendary golfing surname – that of Javier Ballesteros, son of Seve.
