KEVIN Sinfield, the Leeds Rhinos Super League legend and former England captain, will not pursue a career in coaching once he hangs up his boots.

Sinfield, 35, is now plying his trade as a fly-half at Yorkshire Carnegie having switched codes to rugby union after ending his league career with last season's treble success, but his next move will not be into the coach's office.

"In one word, no," said Sinfield, in his interview with The Press to preview his book-signing session at Waterstones, in Coney Street, York, where he will promote Kevin Sinfield: My League Years next Saturday from 1pm to 2.30pm.

"Coaching is not something on the agenda. I went back to university to do a Masters in sports business and that'll lead to working in sports administration," he revealed.

"I'd love to be back in rugby league in some way and will always have a foot in that camp, and my kids play it now, but we'll see.

"I haven't made any definite decision, but if I could make a difference in any sport in an administrative role, that's something that would interest me."
