LEYTON Orient's players have been forced to stay in a hotel all week ahead of tomorrow's home game with York City as punishment for a poor run of results.

Owner Francesco Becchetti ordered the unusual measure as the pressure cranked up on underfire boss Ian Hendon following Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Hartlepool, which left the team with just two wins from their last 12 matches.

The O's remain seventh in the table but are 12 points behind leaders Plymouth and seven adrift of the automatic promotion places, prompting Becchetti to keep the players holed up at the Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel.

Hendon's ranks should be strengthened against the Minstermen, however, with ex-Bootham Crescent loan signing Alex Cisak back in goal and attacker Sammy Moore available again following the birth of his daughter.

Ex-Burnley keeper Cisak has returned from international duty with Australia, where he was on the bench for the Socceroos' World Cup qualifying victories over Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh.

He will take the place of 19-year-old Charlie Grainger who has now conceded nine goals in his three senior outings following the Hartlepool defeat.

Moore, meanwhile, is expected to replace former Millwall forward John Marquis on the right side of a front three.

Fellow winger Dean Cox has been ruled out for six months, though, due to cruciate ligament damage that he suffered in training.

Cox had scored five goals and provided seven assists this season.

Defender Connor Essam (ankle) and striker Paul McCallum (knee) are also still sidelined while Jamaican international Jobi McAnuff, now 34, remains in the Brisbane Road wilderness.

The ex-West Ham and Reading midfielder has been training with the youth team all season and has played for his country nine times since his last club outing despite the O's only naming five substitutes at the weekend.

Orient have managed just one clean sheet in 14 matches but, at the other end of the pitch, they boast Sky Bet League Two's leading marksman Jay Simpson.

The ex-Arsenal and Hull City attacker has netted 11 times in 19 matches, placing him three ahead of nearest rivals Barry Corr (Cambridge), Jabo Ibhere (Carlisle) and Josh Windass (Accrington).

But Simpson, who also plays on the flank in the East Londoners' front three, has not hit the target in four games.

Leyton Orient (probable): Cisak, Shaw, Baudry, Dunne, Clohessy, Pritchard, Payne, James, Moore, Palmer, Simpson.
