MARK Johnston, who has had over 100 winners since the first day of May, can add to his remarkable tally at Glorious Goodwood today by completing a double.

The North Yorkshire trainer can score with nap selection Montsarrat and fast-improving sprinter Midlander in the last two races on the card.

A winner first time out at Salisbury, MONTSARRAT had only one rival in a nursery at Catterick last week and was not seriously pressed to justify cramped odds.

He has more on his plate in the Telegraph Nursery over seven furlongs, in which he has a 6lb penalty to carry. But Montsarrat still looks to be leniently treated for a horse of his potential and he is napped to make it three from three.

MIDLANDER lines-up in the Tatler Handicap over five furlongs. The three-year-old has found a rich seam of form this summer and rattled-up a four-timer at Ascot last Saturday. He also has a penalty to carry but, in his current form, promises to be a tough nut to crack.

Johnston also has each-way prospects in this sprint with his other two runners, Showstoppa and Indescribable.

Graham Lee travels north to continue his famous association with TRIP TO PARIS in the £300,000 Qatar Goodwood Cup.

A winner of a handicap at Ripon in April, Trip To Paris has made massive strides since and won last month's Ascot Gold Cup at Royal Ascot when belying his 12-1 odds with Lee in the saddle.

It will be a notable achievement if Trip To Paris can follow-up in this Group 1 showpiece under a 4lb penalty – but he is such a progressive stayer that it will take a brave man to dismiss his claims.

Frankie Dettori can take first blood at Goodwood aboard KEBLE in the Land Rover Handicap.

The John Gosden-trained three-year-old has some useful placed efforts to his name this season, not least at Windsor last time when a neck second to Argus. He has every chance of going one better in this event over a course and distance which has seen him successful in the past.

At Nottingham, FLASHY MEMORIES is fancied to resume winning ways in the Raymond Hawley 92nd Birthday Handicap.

Richard Fahey's three-year-old has been running creditably in better races. Now dropped to a Class 4 event, he can make his mark under George Chaloner.

Graham Gibbons is enjoying a good summer and the North Yorkshire jockey may have a good chance of winning the opener on the William Haggas-trained REGALITY.

Haggas has a habit of introducing some of his nicer juveniles on this course and it could well be that Regality, a son of Lord Shanakill, may fit that bill on his debut.

Whatever Mark Johnston's fate at Goodwood, the Kingsley Park trainer has further chances at Nottingham, including with YORKINDRED SPIRIT in the Introducing Racing Uk Day Pass Handicap.

Adrian Nicholls' mount won well over two miles at Beverley recently and tackles the same distance again. A follow-up could well be on the cards.
