BOOTHAM BOUND: Newcastle star striker Papiss Cisse
YORK City will entertain Premier League Newcastle United in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday, July 29.
The Bootham Crescent clash will kick off at 7.45pm ten days ahead of the start to the new Sky Bet League Two season.
It is understood that the Magpies intend to field a full-strength team with adult prices £12 for all three home sections of the ground and £6 for concessions.
The friendly is the third to be confirmed by the Minstermen with other fixtures at Darlington on Tuesday, July 14 and Halifax on Saturday, August 1.
