TIM EASTERBY, on the mark at Thirsk on Saturday with evergreen veteran Captain Dunne, can complete a double at Redcar this afternoon.

The Great Habton trainer is fancied to score with Pacngo and Soul Brother, who was recently beaten by inches at Musselburgh.

The mount of Fergal Lynch, Soul Brother, closely related to former high-class stablemate Body And Soul, seeks compensation in the Eaglescliffe Railway Station Car Park Open Handicap.

Pacngo lines up in the Watch Racing UK Anywhere Handicap, which Easterby won last year with Storyline.

The mount of David Allan, Pacngo failed to get off the mark last season in a handful of runs but showed enough ability to suggest that her winning turn will not be delayed much longer. She starts this season on a favourable handicap mark. It will be disappointing if she is unable to capitalize and she is awarded the nap vote.

Richard Fahey, with winners at Thirsk and Newbury on Saturday, can replicate that double this afternoon.

The Malton trainer saddles the unraced Deansgate, a son of Dandy Man, and the way his juveniles are winning at present, it would be unwise to underestimate him in the Watch Racing UK Today Just £10 Maiden Stakes.

Fahey can also score with As Good As Gold, an 82-rated filly, previously trained by Aidan O'Brien in Ireland. She should be capable of making a bold bid in the Voltigeur Restaurant Maiden Fillies' Stakes.

David O'Meara is the third North Yorkshire trainer with double prospects at the seaside course.

He has fitted Takafol (4.50) with a hood and has stepped-up Ingleby Hollow (5.50) in trip. Both have sound chances.

Mark Johnston, who completed a sizzling four-timer at York last Friday, can make his mark at Southwell with Mistymoistymorning in the 18 To 30 Golf Membership Maiden Auction Stakes.

The two-year-old has finished second on both her outings to date, here and at Catterick. She can make it third-time-lucky.

Norton trainer Neville Bycroft has a progressive mare on his hands in Misu Mac, who goes for the the Live Music At Southwell 2nd June Handicap.

The five-year-old has won on three of her last four visits to this course where the Fibresand circuit clearly suits her. Joe Doyle, who knows her well, takes the mount.

Whatever Tim Easterby's fate at Redcar, he also has a winning chance at this venue with Surround Sound, the mount of Duran Fentiman in the Full Golf Membership For £560 Handicap.

The five-year-old came good at Wolverhampton last week in an amateur riders' race. A 6lb penalty may not cause him too many problems, provided he can transfer his form to this slower Fibresand surface.

Mick Easterby can also make his mark at Southwell with a couple of winners.

The Sheriff Hutton trainer saddles Space War in the Southwell Residents Evening 2nd June Handicap. Apprentice Nathan Evans takes the mount on the eight-year-old, who looked as though he was coming to form at Musselburgh recently when finishing a close-up fourth. He is entitled to go well if able to reproduce that level of form.

Be Lucky, a stablemate of Space War, chased home the aforementioned Misu Mac here three weeks ago. The Support Beaumond House On 2nd June Handicap looks a good opportunity for him to go one better.
