DUNNINGTON will be chasing a hat-trick of York FA cup final wins when the series of end of season showpiece games gets under way on Saturday, April 25.

The Common Lane club’s treble bid starts when their York Minster Engineering League reserve side take on division three champions-elect Kirkbymoorside in the York FA Saturday Junior Cup.

The final of the Construction Marine Ltd-sponsored competition will be played at Tockwith on April 25, kick off 2pm.

The following day, Dunnington’s Sunday team will face York Sunday Morning League division one champions Wigginton Grasshoppers in the York FA Sunday Morning Senior Cup final.

The final of the York MotorSports Village-backed competition kicks off at 10.30am, again at Tockwith.

The following weekend sees Dunnington’s first team tackle reigning York Minster Engineering League premier division champions Old Malton St Mary’s, with the York FA Saturday Senior Cup up for grabs.

Dunnington reached the final with a 2-1 win over York RI, while Saints were 3-1 victors against Hemingbrough United.

Tockwith will stage the final of the Stoneplan Landscape Construction Ltd-sponsored cup on Saturday, May 2, kick off 2pm.

The junior finals will be split between Tockwith and York City’s Bootham Crescent ground.

Heworth and Thorpe United are due to meet in the final of the York FA Under-11s Cup at Tockwith on Monday, May 4, kick off 10.30am.

The game is part of a triple header on the Bank Holiday Monday, with the Construction Marine Ltd-sponsored York FA U12s Junior Cup climax between Brayton and Dringhouses following at noon.

The trio is completed by the York MotorSports Village-backed York FA U19s Cup final between Rawcliffe and York FA U19s League champions Dringhouses at 1.30pm.

Bootham Crescent will host two nights of knockout action after the Minstermen’s League Two campaign, on Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7.

First up is the York FA Junior Minor (U13s) Cup, sponsored by Pavers Shoes, with Tadcaster Magnets Reds and Poppleton Tigers colliding at 6.15pm on May 6. The York MotorSports Village-backed U15s Minor Cup final between Heworth and Brooklyn follows at 7.35pm.

On May 7 at 6.15pm, Haxby Town and Fulford go head-to-head for the York FA U14s Minor Cup, sponsored by Construction Marine Ltd.

The Pavers Shoes-backed York FA Senior Minor (U16s) Cup final follows at 7.35pm, with Rawcliffe Tigers taking on Easingwold Town.
