A YORK taxi firm which regularly transports pupils to and from a York special school has donated £1,000 towards the cost of a residential visit.
Streamline Taxis presented the cheque to Hob Moor Oaks School in Acomb on Friday.
Bob Gilbert, business manager for Streamline, and David Rhodes, the firm’s chairman, were both present at the presentation.
Susan Coulter, headteacher at the school, said: “We are absolutely delighted about the generous contribution from Streamline. The donation will be put towards our year six residential visit to Derbyshire."
