HAXBY Town Under-16s completed the double over Aviva with a 2-0 home triumph in division two of the York Motorsports Village Minor League.
Billy Warren scored with a header for the Ethel Ward playing fields hosts and the victory was sealed when Ben Zuiderwijk nodded in from a corner.
The victory - Haxby’s seventh from 13 fixtures this season - followed up the club’s 5-2 win in the reverse fixture in November.
Town have taken ten points from their last five league games to move up to fourth in the table, with their only defeat in that spell coming against unbeaten title favourites Tockwith.
Tomorrow, Haxby host leaders Poppleton Panthers, who are six points ahead of Tockwith having played an extra four matches.
