Dringhouses scored an important 2-1 victory over Tadcaster Magnets to move six points clear at the head of York Minster Engineering League Reserve A. Luke Whittaker put the away side in front early on before Magnets equalised shortly before half time. Tom Hawksby popped up with the Dringhouses winner deep into the second half.

Easingwold thrashed Old Malton St Marys by seven goals to nil, moving themselves off rock bottom in the process. Lewis Calder, Darren Cooper (2) and Jordan Green gave the home side a 4-0 half-time lead before Jimmy Turton, James Holdsworth and Oliver Lawrence sealed the win.

In Reserve B, second placed Thorpe United could only manage a draw as they attempted to close the gap on league leaders Church Fenton, who had their game postponed. Thorpe participated in a 2-2 share-all at Harrison Signs, whose scorers were Caleb Boyle and James Dunwoody.

Brooklyn and Fulford enjoyed the same result. The Malton side’s total was made up from a James Dunwoody strike and an own goal, whilst Joe Konarski and Bailey Simpson struck for Fulford.

Craig Haythone hit a hat-trick for Hemingbrough as they defeated Pocklington by five goals to three. Steve Irving and Jake Atkinson weighed in with the other goals for ‘Brough. James Hall (2) and Alf Shapcott were on target for Heslington as they won 3-2 against Malton and Norton.

In Reserve C, Hamilton Panthers maintained their 12 point cushion at the summit of the league following a 10-2 defeat of Rufforth Utd. Lloyd Crawford (3), Henry Ellis (2), Stephen McManus (2), Bobby Clapham, Tom Atkin and Nathan Robertson obliged for Panthers whilst John McKenzie and Nat Klatkroenkroek found the net for the home side.

Selby RSSC won 4-2 at home to Cliffe, whilst Tockwith scored a 3-1 away victory at Wilberfoss.
