YORK City will travel to AFC Wimbledon hoping to become the first visiting side to win at Kingsmeadow since August.

The Wombles have won four and drawn three fixtures in front of their own fans since a 3-2 reverse against Stevenage, racking up a seventh home match undefeated by beating Dagenham & Redbridge 1-0 at the weekend.

But that victory also ended the club's longest run without a win in 2014.

Neal Ardley's men had not triumphed in any of their previous six matches but climbed up to 14th in the Sky Bet League Two standings after defeating the Daggers.

The Dons only have one absentee for tonight's FA Cup first round replay with centre-back Andy Frampton still sidelined, having injured his ankle after scoring Wimbledon's goal in the original tie.

He has a selection dilemma in attack, however, where the division's highest-scoring front two have been misfiring in recent times.

Nine-goal Matt Tubbs has reclaimed his starting place since being dropped against the Minstermen but has not netted now in nine matches.

Adebayo Akinfenwa, who has netted eight times this term, has endured a four-game barren spell and both are under pressure from Ade Azeez.

The 20-year-old, former Charlton striker was preferred to on-loan Bournemouth marksman Tubbs in the clash at Bootham Crescent and could be in line for a recall even though he has not hit the target in seven matches himself.

Should they progress past the Minstermen this evening, Wimbledon will equal their best run in the competition since the new version of the club was formed in 2002.

Wimbledon (probable): Shea, Fuller, Barrett, Bennett, Smith, Francomb, Sutherland, Bulman, Rigg, Akinfenwa, Azeez.
