CHELTENHAM Town will play host to York City having failed to keep a clean sheet in ten matches.

But the 11th-placed Robins remain just one point outside the Sky Bet League Two play-off places and have only been beaten once - a 1-0 mid-September defeat at the hands of Southend - during seven home games in the division this season.

On-loan Millwall striker John Marquis is expected to return to the hosts' starting line up after sitting out Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Plymouth due to a one-match suspension after reaching five yellow cards for the season.

Marquis, who has previously been loaned out to Portsmouth, Torquay and Northampton by the Championship Lions, has only netted once in ten league outings for Mark Yates' men but is likely to be recalled at the expense of Byron Harrison and partner Terry Gornell, recently taken off the transfer list, in attack.

Ex-Accrington and Rochdale forward Gornell has three goals this term and is Cheltenham's second top scorer for the campaign behind Birmingham City's Ghanaian teenager Koby Arthur, who netted four times before returning to St Andrew's in September.

Midfielder Asa Hall (calf) remains sidelined as does skipper and first-choice centre-back Matthew Taylor due to a hamstring problem.

But 19-year-old Joe Hanks could return to the side in place of Omari Sterling-James after being rested for the long trip to Devon.

Cheltenham (probable): Carson, Brown, Deaman, Elliott, Vaughan, Richards, Taylor, Hanks, Braham-Barrett, Marquis, Gornell.
