YORK RACECOURSE’S 2015 season will start on May 13.
The British Horseracing Authority has published the new fixture list, which reveals Knavesmire will continue to host 17 days of racing starting with the curtain-raising Dante Festival in May.
That will run between May 13 and 15 with the flagship Welcome To Yorkshire Ebor Festival staged over four days from Wednesday, August 19 until Saturday, August 22. The Press Family Raceday, the only Sunday meeting of the year at York, is held on September 6.
The season ends with the October Finale on October 9 and 10.
Wetherby Racecourse will see their Jumps programme supplemented with four Flat dates following a successful trial earlier in the year. The track will stage races on the level on Sunday, April 26, Monday, June 22, Monday, July 13 and Tuesday, July 21.
York 2015 race-dates: May 13, 14, 15; May 30; June 12, 13; July 10, 11; July 24, 25; August 19, 20, 21, 22; September 6; October 9, 10.
