CITY of York HC ladies II triumphed 4-1 at Bingley Bees in the Yorkshire League premier division.
Corrine Wray notched two expertly-placed goals and two great deflections past the Bees keeper.
After a disappointing 4-1 defeat at Wakefield Wanderers I in division two, City of York Ladies III countered to succeed 2-1 at University of Leeds IV just 24 hours later.
Ginette Skelton opened the scoring with a rifling shot followed by a second goal of the weekend for Fay Chapman. Midfielder Emily Cooper was player of the match.
In a clash between City of York V and VI, the latter won thanks to a solitary first-half strike from Rebecca Feetenby.
