Tennis: Promotion for Poppleton ladies
POPPLETON Tennis Club ladies tennis team squad have successfully completed the season gaining promotion to division three of the Fulford Ladies Invitation League.
Their squad, who put a run together of winning all but one match in the summer, comprised captain Linda Moore, Sheena Jackson, Margaret Evans, Sue Pauer, Pat McKellar, Jean Geraghty, Sue Wilson, Lauren Caley, Fiona Smith, and co-captain Veronique Knighton.
