HIGH-FIVE exploits advanced York's Simon Dyson closer to a historic quartet.
Dyson, three times a winner of the KLM Open, tore into the Kennemer course in Vandvoort yesterday, to post a round that puts him in with a chance of becoming the first man to win the Ducth national crown four times.
After a level-par 70 in the opening round, the world number 133 knew he had to start making inroads yesterday if he was to again challenge for a title he won in 2006, 2009 and 2011.
The 36-year-old was quick out of the blocks, carding birdies on the second, sixth and seventh holes in a flawless outward nine.
On his way back more birdies followed on the 12th and 14th holes as he finished with a rousing 65. That left him tied for seventh place, five shots off half-way stage leader, Spain'sPablo Larrazabal, who shot a 62.
