COPMANTHORPE Ladies bowls team have won the Yorkshire Ladies Janet Harrow competition for the first time.

They convincingly beat Driffield Town Ladies in the semi-finals followed by a further impressive win over Marske Ladies in the final to hoist aloft the Janet Harrow shield. Both games were played in very difficult conditions at Helmsley Bowling Club.
