LEEDS United were rocked by visitors Brighton, who put on a breezy show at Elland Road last night.

Coach Dave Hockaday’s men crashed to a 2-0 reverse as their Championship campaign continued to stutter.

The men from the south coast took a mere five minutes to go in front when striker Joao Teixeira, signed on loan from Brighton manager Sami Hyppia’s former Liverpool club, drove the ball in from the edge of the area.

The only issue Leeds dominated in was indiscipline. No fewer than five home players received yellow cards before substitute Kazenga Lua Lua struck an 84th-minute second goal.
