Yorkshire are chasing 152 to beat Derbyshire at Scarborough today and book a place in the Royal London one-day Cup quarter-finals.
The Falcons were bowled out for 151 in 41 overs thanks in the main to three wickets apiece for Rich Pyrah and Adil Rashid, while Tim Bresnan set the Vikings on their way with two wickets with the new ball.
Middle order batsman Alex Hughes top-scored for the visitors with 43 off 76 balls. Steve Patterson also added two late wickets.
Yorkshire started their second innings before lunch and reached 64-0 after 12 overs. Derbyshire bowler Mark Footitt was taken out of their attack after 4.5 overs for short pitched and dangerous bowling.
