YORK City Knights saw their lead at the top of Kingstone Press Championship One cut to three points as title rivals Oldham beat Hunslet Hawks.
The Knights were not in action yesterday and the Roughyeds took advantage with a 24-23 victory over third-placed Hunslet as the sides jockey for positions with the end of season promotion play-offs looming.
York are on 42 points, with Oldham on 39 and the Hawks, who have a game in hand on the top two, a further three points back.
