YORK City Baths Club star James Wilby finished seventh in the final of the 100 metres breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow tonight.
The 20-year-old Strensall swimmer, who was sixth in the final of the 200m earlier in the Games, clocked one minute 1.07 seconds as England team-mate Adam Peaty took gold in 58.94 seconds.
Loughborough University student Wilby will compete in heat four of the 50 metres breaststroke tomorrow at 10.50am.
The semi-finals will be held tomorrow night, while the final is on Monday at 8.49pm.
