YORK City boss Nigel Worthington wants his players to brush up on their finishing after drawing 0-0 at pre-season hosts St Johnstone.
The Minstermen dominated in Perth but failed to get on the scoresheet with Worthington feeling strikers Michael Coulson and Jake Hyde should have both got a goal apiece.
City will now focus on shooting practice prior to Wednesday's home friendly against beaten FA Cup finalists Hull with Worthington saying: "There was a lot of good football played and the only thing you could fault really was the finishing.
"We had two clear-cut chances that fell to Couls and Jake and they should have been goals but we will keep working on those little things to make sure we get the ball in the net when it drops to us. But, as an exercise, the game was excellent."
