FREDDIE TYLICKI, successfully carving out a career for himself in Newmarket after taking the champion apprentice title when based in Malton with Richard Fahey, could be the jockey to follow at Doncaster today.

Tylicki, pictured, has a trio of winning chances on Invincible Fresh, Reesha and Men Don't Cry on a card where he struck 12 months ago with a winner for Godolphin aboard the Saeed bin Suroor-trained Gold Hunter.

Invincible Fresh runs in the £12,000 Kathleen Snell Worldpay Handicap on behalf of James Fanshawe, who didn't race him last year but who is now reaping rewards.

The three-year-old made a winning debut at Lingfield four weeks ago and, despite looking understandably green, ran out a decisive scorer. The handicapper has given him a rating of 85 which may not be an obstacle too high for Invincible Fresh, a horse with any amount of scope for further improvement. He looks interesting on his handicap bow.

Reesha, trained by Roger Varian, runs in the Harriet Pyke Worldpay Fillies' Handicap. A Leicester winner on her penultimate outing, she went down by only half a length to Rydan at Sandown last time. Both those races were over ten furlongs and the step up to a mile and a half is fancied to eke out further improvement in this three-year-old.

Men Don't Cry has been beaten only once in four outings this season.

Trained by Ed de Giles, the five-year-old won his last two starts at Brighton and Ffos Las and comes into this contest burdened with a 6lb penalty. It may not be enough to halt his progress in the Richard Bland Worldpay Handicap.

Tylicki is on a high. Last Sunday, he rode the winner of the Austrian Derby for the second successive year. A lucrative few hours at Doncaster this afternoon is now on the cards.

Nathr is not to be underestimated in the Ricky Bond Worldpay Maiden Stakes.

It's more than a year since he has been seen in action, but Charlie Hills' colt showed ability in both his outings early last season, not least when finishing second to Bunker at Haydock. That winner has since gone on to become a 105-rated performer.

Beverley's evening meeting offers nap selection Grand Beauty the chance to open her winning account in one of the two feature races, the £10,000 Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire Pudding Novice Stakes.

Richard Fahey's filly was withdrawn from her first intended outing at Doncaster after becoming unruly in the stalls. But she was on much better behaviour at Ripon a couple of weeks ago when she was beaten only a neck by the more experienced Roossey.

There was plenty to like about that performance and although she meets three previous winners here, they have all to concede her weight. It could be that they will struggle to do so. Tony Hamilton takes the mount on the Malton raider.

Hamilton and Fahey also have a winning chance with Kalahari Kingdom in the Swan Industrial Drives Handicap.

Although he was becoming very frustrating, Kalahari Kingdom finally came good at Nottingham last time under an attacking ride from the front. Hamilton is likely to adopt a similar role this evening and the three-year-old, now that he's got his head in front, just might be able to shrug-off a 6lb rise in his rating.

The £10,000 Jackson's Yorkshire Champion Bread Handicap looks a tight little affair, but Eeny Mac may provide the solution on behalf of Norton trainer Neville Bycroft, who does so well at this course.

Eeny Mac was a Beverley winner two outings ago over an extended mile and although he came unstuck when only fourth over ten furlongs here last time, he is of interest dropping back to a distance of just under a mile this evening. Andrew Elliott takes the mount.
