Severus Social Club trounced Tramways ‘A’ 6-1 to go joint top of the York Mixed Darts League with Tramways ‘B’.
There were excellent performances from Dean Cairns, Dan Fairclough, Wendy Storr and Dot Sellers.
Tramways ‘B’ beat Railway Institute 4-3 despite Sandra Bruce producing an excellent 19-dart leg which included scores of 121 and 100. Col Rowntree included a 125 for Tramways and Sharon Neads hit two 100s.
Golden Slipper beat Falcon 4-3, a win which included a 98 finish from Phil Smith. Micky Robson added three 100s and a 140 for Falcon.
Tramways ‘B’ beat Falcon 5-2. Chris Matthews fired a 180, a 100 and a 78 checkout for an 18-dart leg. He also had a 128 in a 21-dart leg.
Steve Smith supported with a 22-darter, while Kev Newsome replied for Falcon with a 21-dart leg.
Golden Slipper beat Severus 4-3 thanks to two 24-dart legs by Paul Partridge. Phil Smith supported him with legs of 20 and 27 darts.
