YORK CITY have signed midfielder Anthony Straker.
The 25-year-old, who can also play in defence, has penned a two-year deal at Bootham Crescent and has joined the club from League Two play-off rivals Southend United.
Straker played 47 times for the Shrimpers last season and scored six goals - including netting in the 2-2 draw with Burton which narrowly saw manager Phil Brown's side miss out on a trip to Wembley.
The former Wycombe and Aldershot player has been capped eight times by Grenada.
