A former twice-winner of the York Pool Singles Championship, is among the trophies yet again.
Paul Sullivan, 19 times Selby Singles Pool Champion, was a member of the England team which won the European Championship defeating Ireland in the final and winning a gold medal.
Eight countries including the home countries Malta, France, Gibraltar and Cyprus took part in the competition held at Bridlington.
Paul who has represented England in various competitions since 2002, had a 73 per cent success rate in his games and will be in the England team later this year in the Nations Cup to be played in Ireland.
Paul, who does not play in the Selby pool league at the moment, plays for Winning Post in the York League.
