DIVISION two north leaders Osbaldwick continued their good form with a five-wicket victory at Sheriff Hutton in the Hunters York & District Senior Cricket League.

Osso dismissed their hosts for 133, with Jonny Rawsthorne taking 5-28, despite Joel Wilford's 55. Richie Carew scored 43 and Matthew Hattee 31 not out in Osbaldwick's winning reply. Sheriff Hutton's Chris Gartland took 3-27.

Hovingham got the better of Harrogate, whose Jack Rowett made 41 of their 89 all out, with Paul Deverell taking 4-7 and Rich Bowling 4-17.

David Bowling was then unbeaten on 54 as Hovingham passed the winning line.

Woodhouse Grange beat visitors Thirsk by eight runs. Batting first, Woodhouse were bowled out for 126 as Jonathan Bean hit 46 and Matthew Durkin 47. Harry Consett took 5-5.

Despite a battling 72 from Stuart Christon, Paul Grower’s 5-20 had the visitors all out for 118.

Ripon beat Duncombe Park by 50 runs after batting first and posting 158-8 with Ben Crewe (32), and Tom Leeming (41) to the fore against Jonathan Leckenby (4-40). Graham Bassitt took 5-14 as Duncombe Park were dismissed for 108.

Tadcaster Magnets demolished visitors Pocklington for 85, with Charles Lambert and Ben Stephenson scoring 27 apiece. Magnets lost just three wickets as they took the points with match winning contributions from Paul Clark (39 runs and 3-33) and Tyrone Naude (31 runs and 3-15).

Dringhouses beat hosts York. The home side made 119-9, with Mick Kenyon taking 4-46. In reply, Chris Evans (51) and Gary Wilson (27) saw their team home in 28 overs.

Acomb II took over at the top of division two south as they put early leaders and hosts Patrington to the sword at Southside.

The home side were shot out for 114, with George Sykes taking 4-28. Acomb lost four wickets, with Matthew Dickinson ending 30 not out and James Fletcher 29 not out.

Beverley Town II beat visitors Welton & Brough by six wickets. Pete Parnaby took 5-35 for Beverley.

Londesborough Park beat Carlton Towers by 58 runs after scoring 219-7 in the first innings. Greg Drewery (63) and Steve Dawson (42) were the main contributors and the visitors then fell short at 161 all out as Richard Foster took 6-46.

John Robinson scored 102 for Driffield as they had the better of a draw at Thorp Arch & Boston Spa. The visitors scored 201-5, with Damon Jenkinson adding 58. TABS managed to hang on at 132-8, with Guy Whatmore hitting 34.

Clifton Alliance drew at home to Hull Zingari after racking up a mammoth 258-1. Ryan Partington was unbeaten on 115, while Neil Hindle weighed in with 88 in an opening partnership of 186 that also involved John Myers, who retired hurt for nine.

Zingari were able to hang on at 114-6.
