Reminder... The last article about the Community Stadium in April stated that the preferred bidder would be unveiled by the end of May. We are now nearly there, so where's the news CoYC? Or are we going to have yet more delays?
jason McGill said on the radio yesterday that it's now down to two bidders, who were due to submit their bids this Friday.

I guess that we won't hear by the end of May, but also that it won't be too much longer, unless council bureaucracy slows it down yet again.

Fingers crossed that it's closer to the 8000 McGill mentioned yesterday than the 6000 we've been fearing."

YORK City have signed 6ft 9in keeper Jason Mooney.

The Northern Irish shot-stopper has spent the last two seasons with Tranmere, where he made four senior appearances.

Mooney, 25, joined Wycombe Wanderers in 2011 but left the Buckinghamshire club after a season having failed to break into the first team.

He previously played in his home country for Ards, Bangor, Ards Rangers and Comber Recreation.
