MALCOLM JEFFERSON, whose horses continue in good form after a successful winter campaign, can saddle a double at Wetherby this afternoon.

The Norton trainer is fancied to score with Oleohneh and Pair Of Jacks, who will both be partnered by Brian Hughes, Jefferson's number one jockey.

Oleohneh makes her debut over timber in the opening Book Yorkshire Post Ladies' Evening Hospitality Mares' Maiden Hurdle after a successful time in bumpers.

The six-year-old won at Newcastle and Sedgefield last season. She now needs to transfer that ability to hurdling, and provided she jumps fluently, there is every reason to believe that she can get her jumping career off to a winning start.

Pair Of Jacks is already nicely into his hurdling career and was a decisive scorer at Sedgefield last time out when he had six lengths to spare at the line.

The handicapper has done him no favours by raising him 10lb for that victory, but Pair Of Jacks remains a horse to keep on the right side. He is in a deeper race today, but he commands respect in the Watch Racing Uk On Sky 432 Handicap Hurdle.

Tony McCoy is the star attraction during the seven-race card. The legendary champion jockey is riding winners at a relentless rate lately and he can add to his tally aboard Jimmy The Hat in the Celebrate 10 Years of Racing Uk Selling Hurdle.

Trained in Ireland by Gordon Elliott, Jimmy The Hat was a winner of a chase at Ayr on his penultimate outing and his latest unplaced effort came in the Ulster Grand National at Downpatrick. He takes a step drop in class and also reverts to hurdles this afternoon and is selected to capitalise.

Middleham trainer Micky Hammon could enjoy a useful programme.

He switches Alderbrook Lad to the smaller obstacles in the Pristine Cars Wetherby Novices' Hurdle. A four-times winner over fences and with a steeplechase mark of 118, Alderbrook Lad looks sure to go well if taking to hurdles under Joe Colliver.

Hammond also bids to clinch the Download Racing UK IPad App Lady Riders' Handicap Hurdle with Rayadour.

Winner of his last three races, two here and one at Sedgefield, Rayadour has climbed from a mark of 81 to 99. It might well be that the handicapper has finally got hold of him, but his confidence is on such a high that it would unwise to overlook his claims in the hands of Catherine Walton.

The featured £10,000 Racing UK Anywhere Available Now Handicap Chase looks a good opportunity for High Ron to continue his excellent form. Caroline Bailey's progressive gelding has won his last two races at Southwell and Uttoxeter and may well be able to complete a hat-trick.

At Goodwood, Ryan Moore promises to be the jockey to follow.

Having ridden a treble at York last Friday, Moore can score another on the promising and lightly-raced Gothic (2.40), who may have needed his comeback run, strong stayer Lion Beacon (3.15) and Russian Realm (3.50), whose runner-up effort at Ascot three weeks ago left the impression that a winning turn was imminent for Sir Michael Stoute's sprinter. He is awarded the nap vote.
