24-hour goalball marathon
A 24-HOUR goalball marathon will be held at Joseph Rowntree School in York on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25.
The first ever Goalball UK Marathon tournament will involve players, coaches and officials from around the country, as well as family and friends.
Goalball is a Paralympic sport for blind and partially sighted people and Goalball UK are the national governing body.
The purpose of the event is to try to raise the profile of the sport and attract potential funding.
